İslam Ekonomisi ve Finansı Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans Programı (Türkçe)
Program Hakkında
Üniversitemiz İslami Araştırmalar Enstitüsü, İslam Ekonomisi ve Finansı Anabilim Dalı altında aktif olarak “İslam Ekonomisi ve Finansı Yüksek Lisans Programı (İngilizce) bulunmaktadır. Program kısa süre içinde gerek yurt içinde ve gerek yurt dışında tanınır hale gelmiştir.
Ankara Sosyal Bilimler Üniversitesi bünyesinde, Uluslararası İslam Ekonomisi ve Finansı Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi (ASBU) bulunmaktadır. Merkez hedef olarak Türkiye’deki gerek finansal sektör gerekse üniversiteler ve araştırma merkezlerinin araştırmacı/akademisyen ihtiyacının karşılanması bu yönde uluslararası seviyede araştırma ve projelerin yapılmasını hedeflemektedir. Bu çerçevede gerek ulusal gerekse uluslararası kurum ve kuruluşlarla iş birliği içinde bulunulmaktadır. Bu çerçevede ilgili tezli yüksek lisans programının açılması hem merkezin güçlenmesine yardımcı olacak hem de İslam ekonomisi ve finansı alanında akademik birikimin geliştirilerek piyasa ve ekonomi politikası yapıcılarının ihtiyaç duyduğu insan kaynağına katkıda bulunmasını sağlayacaktır.
Bahreyn merkezli İslami Bankalar ve Finans Kurumları Genel Meclisi (CIBAFI), her 5 yılda bir İslami finansal endüstrinin büyüklüğünün iki katına çıkacağını söylemektedir. Malezya Merkez Bankası’nın bir raporunda (MIFC, 2017) yakın gelecekte dünyada yetişmiş akademisyen/ilim adamı ve iş gücü ihtiyacını yüzbinlerle ifade edilmektedir. Bu anlamda özelikle uluslararası nitelik arz eden üniversite ve ilgili kurumlarının dünyadaki bu ihtiyaca hazırlıklı olması, ilgili stratejik planlamalarını bu çerçevede yapması önem taşımaktadır.
Son kırk yıldır gerek dünya çapında gerekse ülkemizde İslam Ekonomisi ve Finans’ına olan ilginin giderek artmakta olduğu malumdur. Bu ilgi artışının kamu ve özel sektör tarafından da teveccüh gördüğü söylenebilir. Üniversitemiz ve ilgili kurumlarının da bu duruma kayıtsız kalması söz konusu olamaz. Bu ilginin ilmi temellerde profesyonel bir uzmanlık çerçevesinde uluslararası seviyede ele alınması, katılım bankacılığı/katılım sigortacılığı sektörünün ortaya çıkış amaçlarına uygun çalışması ve sektörün doğru kanalize edilmesi açısından önemlidir.

- For Turkish Applicants
-
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Labor Economics, Econometrics, Financial Econometrics, Public Administration, Political Science, International Trade and similar programs or one in the fields of Theology and Islamic Studies.
- Minimum GPA of undergraduate degree should not be less than 2.00 out of 4.
- The tuition fee of the program is 9.000 TL in total. The half of this payment is at the beginning of the first semester and the other half is received at the beginning of the second semester.
- For International Applicants

- A commission set up by the relevant department’s directorate and composed of at least 3 faculty members determines the field in which applicants must hold an undergraduate degree, the minimum CGPA and (for the programs requiring proficiency in a language other than Turkish) language proficiency level.
- International students, in order to start their studies, are required to submit the Turkish language score of at least C1 taken either from Turkish Language Teaching Centre (TOMER) at one of Turkish public universities or from Language Education, Application and Research Centre (DILMER) at ASBU. Those candidates who have completed their secondary education at a high school under the Turkish Ministry of National Education are exempt from the Turkish language requirement.

Application Calendar and Evaluation
The application page becomes active in the period when the applications are accepted.
The applications are generally accepted in the months of June-July-August for Fall semesters and November-December for Spring semesters. The university website should be followed for exact dates.
Scientific evaluation examination is conducted on the date announced after the applications are accepted. The overall success of the candidates is determined by taking into account 50% of ALES grade, 20% of GPA and 30% of scientific evaluation examination score. Evaluation results are announced on the Graduate School's website where the program is conducted.
