Biography

Ozat Shamshiyev is an Islamic researcher with a sincere passion for exploring the intricacies of Islamic law and economics. His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya in 2013. He continued his education with an associate's degree in Foreign Trade from Anadolu University in Eskişehir in 2014.

Driven by a deep commitment to his studies, Ozat earned a master's degree in Qur'an Sciences and Tafseer from Erciyes University in 2017. This academic pursuit allowed him to develop a profound understanding of the Qur'an's teachings and interpretations.

In 2022, Ozat completed his Ph.D. in Islamic Law from Necmettin Erbakan University, focusing on the Fiqh of Financial Transactions. His doctoral research showcased his dedication to understanding the practical applications of Islamic financial principles.

Ozat also proudly graduated from Selçuk, the Higher Islamic Academy of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye, further enriching his knowledge in Islamic studies.

His primary interests lie in Islamic law, legal theory methodology, Islamic economics and finance, as well as the Halal industry. Ozat speaks several languages including Kazakh (native), Russian, Turkish, Arabic, and English. This linguistic proficiency allows him to engage effectively with a diverse audience.

Ozat Shamshiyev's enthusiasm for Islamic scholarship continue to drive his contributions to the field. With his modesty and dedication, he seeks to deepen the understanding of Islamic principles and their practical implications for individuals and communities.
